Essential Items For A Extended Voyage With Toddlers

Published by under Family

Going on a road trip with toddlers may be stressful, but if you think ahead and expect what you will require you and your child can have more fun and arrive at your destination calm and relaxed. If you don't have what you need, it will make the trip a lot harder on both of you.

Keep things you will need while driving in a centralized emplacement. Usually, bringing your Kecci diaper bag and placing it in the passenger's seat or on the floor between the front seats is a good idea. Pack the diaper bag with all the necessities: Diapers for the trip, wipes, your child's favored blanket, toddler safe snacks, water, non-spill cup and toys. In the trunk, be sure to pack several full changes of clothes for your child and a change of shirt for your own behalf.

Be choosy when packing for the long car ride. Only take your child's favorite toys and favorite books. If you are unsure what to fetch, tell your child to go pick the toys they want to take with.

Weather is always a key factor in planning for your trip. Be sure to check the weather forecast for area you’re journey to, fetch clothes that will match the temperature and keep your toddler comfortable. Similarly, whether or not your toddler is breastfeeding, do not forget to fetch a blanket or cover up, for privacy.

Choose car snacks cautiously. As you pack your food, look at what are going to be easy and least messy. Sliced soft vegetables and fruits make for a smashing healthy snack. Crackers and arid breakfast cereal work well. They are easy to eat and easy to clean up.

Do not forget to cut your child's snacks into small pieces to prevent choking.

A little planning goes a long way to making road trips with your toddler fun.

Hanging Out with my Kids

Published by under Family

The thing that I hate the most about being an adult is that there is not enough time for fun. So I had kids to change that. I know that it isn't always as fun as I hope, and sometimes there are issues, but they certainly add value to my life.

So, today, I decided to take them out for a bike ride. Our youngest is just two. So, we have bought a Schwinn bicycle trailer that we bought to put on the back of my bike. She loves it and I really feel that it is a lot safer than her sitting on a seat behind me.

I wanted to get one for the dog, but with another baby on the way, I don't think that will happen any time soon.
